GuideTech Adds Ethernet
Supports to GT4000
Sunnyvale, Calif. – October 15, 2008
–Guide Tech Inc. today announced that they added remote
control access via Ethernet 10/100 port for the GT4000.
The GT4000 can now be controlled via the Ethernet 10/100
port on the back of the instrument. Control can be
point-to-point or through a Local Area Network
connection.
The GT4000 Front Panel now can be accessed remotely
through the network, using Microsoft's Remote Desktop
Connection client application (there are also some Linux
clients compatible with it).
These features are available on the new software
release 1.6A.
