Guide Technology Inc. Signs Definitive Agreement to be Acquired by GuideTech Inc.
Sunnyvale, Calif. – June 4, 2008 –Guide Technology Inc. today announced that they have signed a definitive agreement for GuideTech Inc. to acquire Guide Technology Inc. Guide Technology Inc. provides high throughput precision frequency and jitter analysis instrumentation for semiconductor production test and scientific measurement applications. Financial details were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to be final in less than 10 days, subject to certain closing conditions.
Guide Technology Inc. was incorporated on May 11, 1988. Several generations of products have been developed over the years with the GT 4000 being the latest product and being regarded as the most precise highest throughput CTIA on the market.
GuideTech Inc. will be headed by Mr. Ron Sigura, one of the original founders of Guide Technology Inc. “This acquisition enables us to serve the very loyal Guide Technology Inc. customer base with more than 1000 systems installed worldwide,” Ron Sigura exclaimed.
